It was a long journey from Rank 7 to Rank 5 this month (6 hours to be precise) and it was definitely not easy. So, what exactly happened that made me go back to my Ranked games at Rank 17 and push for a specific Rank 5 this month?

In World's Top 1% Players! PogChamp

April 2015 ranked season comes to an end and I am surprised to see that even at Rank 4, I am among the top 1% ranked players in the world. The biggest reason contributing to this number might be that most of the players play for the card back which you can get for reaching rank 20. So, they probably never try to reach higher ranks making the number of players in top 1% very low as compared to the huge number of lower rank players. Also, all new players definitely try all game modes which adds them to the list of ranked players as well. These new players may not even reach rank 20 in their first season and that's totally fine but this could be another reason why being a rank 4 is still in the top 1% of the players.

Some more epic moments I had in the game since the last epic moments post. All of these screenshots come form March and April ranked season except the priest game which is from Arena.

Blackrock Mountain Hype

A new adventure similar to the Naxxramas adventure is going to hit Hearthstone soon. The format and way to unlock all the wings will be exactly same as Naxxramas. Unfortunately, they are not giving a free first wing like last time (Seriously Blizzard, why you do this to me ;-;).

First Hearthstone Tournament Experience

As I am getting more and more serious about competitive Hearthstone, I thought of participating in some tournaments. I just played in Tuesday Night Hype #14 and did good. The problem I have right now is incomplete decks. I have complete face hunter deck and somewhat complete mech rogue and mech mage decks. Even bigger problem was that I needed 4 decks for this tournament, so I thought I was screwed. 

Road To Legend

Finally, I have a deck completed. I know it's hated by all but it's cheapest so I had to get this one first. It's the Face Hunter. I am going on winning sprees from Rank 15 to Rank 8 with this aggro hunter deck. The 2 other decks that are almost complete are mech mage and mech rogue. Mech rogue is definitely no match to the miracles rogue but that's all I can build for now. And honestly, mech rouge is the most fun deck I have built so far. For other classes, I definitely have no proper decks and cannot play them in constructed as for now. Also, I am doing good in Arena. My last 3 arena runs were 6-3 and I hope to have even better average arena wins.

Time To Climb The Ranked Ladder

Another season comes to an end in Hearthstone and I am glad to see myself improving with every season. I still don't have any complete decks but was able to reach Rank 10 in January 2015 season. I played Mech Rogue 90% of the time. I am close to complete a good Mech Rogue, Control Druid and Face Hunter deck. With the completion of these decks, I will hopefully reach higher in ranked games in the coming season.

Naxxramas Cleared

We are marching ahead with all the Naxx cards in hand now. The Naxxramas adventure ends with a nice animation which I screenshot and am sharing below. Next step is to unlock the classic and GvG cards, so we can compete at all ranks with fair games. Here's the screenshot:

Hearthstone Region for Indian Players

So, as I set out to buy all the Naxxramas wings with money to instantly complete my decks instead of waiting for gold, I wanted to make sure that I buy them on the region I am going to be playing on primarily. After I started playing on Americas, I got 2 legendaries in a single pack and got confused on whether to continue playing on Asia or switch to America. I found out that majority of Indian players are playing on NA (Americas) from the Hearthstone India Facebook group. To be 100% sure, what is a better place to ask than the Hearthstone official page itself?

2 Legendaries in 1 GvG Pack

Finally, I got my first LEGENDARY! But wait, I got 2. After all this time I kept waiting for a legendary, I got 2 of them when it finally came. This pack is obviously the best pack ever, alteast for me. 3 beautiful Mech cards that are ready for my MechMage deck and Gahz'rilla for my Hunter's Deck. I don't play Rogue but I guess its the best time to start. Also, look how the pack has the best mana curve ever.

Some Epic Moments in Hearthstone So Far

I have not been able to reach beyond Rank 11 in ranked games so far but had some great moments while playing Hearthstone. I have a lot of cards to unlock, even rare cards. Have 1 or 2 epics and only 2 legendaries from the first 2 wings of Naxxramas. I'll get all the Naxx cards next and then spam arena to get GvG cards and buy classic packs to complete my collection.
